Snoring can be very annoying for people, of course for the person, who himself is snoring. Stop snoring exercises help in curing this problem. At the same it can be caused, due to poor sleep posture, fat tissues and /or soft tissues in the throat, which press against the air way and cause snoring.   • Not many would agree, but genes do have a role to play, if you do snore.
  • If you have reached the middle age and have started snoring, you can relax and blame it on the age.
  • It is true, women are less likely to snore as compared to men.
  • If you are on the overweight side, you may want to consider shedding some flab to control snoring.
  • Alcohol and smoking also causes snoring.
  • Allergies, sinus infection, asthma are also known to cause snoring.
  • Poor sleeping posture is often responsible too.
Stop Snoring Exercises
Now let's see what are the ways to stop snoring.

Exercise # 1
This is a simple exercise, which can be done any time any where. To do this exercise, close your mouth and move your jaws as you would, if you were chewing a gum. Continue to do this action for a minute every time. When you are doing this exercise, your molars on both the sides move apart a little and touch each other lightly, before they move apart again. At the same time, your lips should be pressed onto one another.

Exercise # 2
This exercise is a variation in the above mentioned exercise. Press your lips onto one another and make a "mmmmm" sound for about few seconds initially. You can gradually increase the time. Exercise # 3
To do this exercise, stretch your tongue out as much as you can, but make sure you are not overdoing it. After having stretched the tongue, move it towards the right and then slowly towards the left. Now it is the time to try and touch the tongue to your nose, followed by the chin. It is very difficult to touch the nose or the chin. You may have to repeat this exercise about 12 to 15 times. Exercise # 4
I am sure all of you have done this pose previously in your life, but you are not aware, that it has the capacity to stop snoring. All you need to do is to pucker up, so that you can blow a kiss. Hold in this position for about 10 seconds. Repeat this exercise about 10 times.

Exercise # 5
If you want to get a photo clicked, what would you do? Say cheese, right? Well that is exactly, what you are suppose to do in this exercise. Exercise # 6
