Fourth annual Chicago Theater Bike Ride celebrates
Theater community at Foster Beach 12-mile lakeshore event benefits

The Fourth Annual Chicago Theater Bike Ride: Love Hard, a 501(c)(3) organization, will benefit The Actors Fund, a nationwide human services organization that helps all professionals in performing arts and entertainment www.actorsfund.org and The Chicago Emergency Aid Fund which was able to assist 6 families in our community with final expenses this past year.
This year, the Ride celebrates the lives and contributions of Stephen J. Albert, DuShon M. Brown, PJ Brown, Tom Clark, Jennifer Collins, Dan Foss, Scott Lee Heckman, Marcine Lake, John Mahoney, Laurence Moran, Neal Miller, Rachel Rockwell, Nick Rudall, Diana Sacerio, Mike Scriba, Zan Skolnick, Dennis Sook, Paul Sullenger, Christopher Tisone, Darryl Warren.
The ride seeks rider sponsorships, which includes logo placement on t-shirts and the website, all printed media and even the banner on race day. http://loveHardBikeRide.org
Saturday, September 15, 2018. Ceremony at 9:45 am with a 10:30 am step-off. The Community potluck barbecue begins at noon.
This year’s event will be held at Foster Beach, 5200 N. Lake Shore Drive at the Lake.
The 2018 fundraising goal is $18,000 aiming for up to 200 riders. We have raised more money and helped more people in each successive year. This year we would like to see 100% involvement from the Chicago theaters and raise awareness of our desire to help
The ride was born September 2014 at the memorial for Molly Glynn, a local actress and mother of two. Our mission is to support fellow artists in their time of greatest need.
The 12-mile bike ride will start at Chicago’s Foster Beach, take a short loop up to Osterman Beach and then south to the turn-around at North Avenue Beach ending back at Foster Beach.

Donations of any amount are encouraged even if not participating in the bike ride.
