  WALSH SMASHES VOLLEYBALL COMPETITION FOR OLCHS ‘ATHLETE OF MONTH’ AWARD

​   Oisin Walsh is proving to be more than just a hitter for the Oak Lawn Community High School boys volleyball team. He showcased his versatility in the month of April with an impressive team-high hitting percentage of .333, with a team-high 47 blocks, a team-high in aces with 26, a team-high in kills with 125, and a. team-high in total points with 198.
This smashing month of volleyball earned him honors as the Oak Lawn Community High School “Athlete of the Month” for April.
    “Oisin’s performance reminds us that volleyball is not just about offensive power,” Oak Lawn boys volleyball head coach Matt Hunt said. “His exceptional defensive skills and serving prowess have significantly contributed to the team’s success. With a team-leading 198 points, Oisin exemplifies the well-rounded player every team dreams of having.
“Oisin’s dedication to improving every aspect of his game is paying off big time. His ability to rack up points through offense, defense, and serving makes him an invaluable asset to our team. We’re proud of his achievements and are excited to see what he’ll accomplish next.”
